This website is developed to provide project updates regarding the Medicine Root, Porcupine, and Wounded Knee District projects.

Project Description
These projects will include the construction of (3) new community centers in the Medicine Root, Porcupine, and Wounded Knee Districts. The buildings will include a multi-purpose room, administrative offices, and other supporting spaces. Uses of the building may include:
Public Health Care
Assistance to households
Government services and benefits
Job training
Educational programs
Childcare
Recreation spaces

The 2024 site and utility work is nearly wrapped up at the Porcupine and Medicine Root job sites! Once the weather warms up in the spring, our teams will return to get started on structural excavation, foundation work, and the building structure.
Invitation to Bid - Bid Package 2
Loeffler Construction & Consulting invites prospective bidders to submit subcontractor bids for the Oglala Sioux Tribe Government Buildings in the Medicine Root, Wounded Knee and Porcupine Districts. Bid Package 2 work includes but is not limited to; CIP Concrete, Carpentry, Architectural Woodwork, D/F/HW, Glazing, Gyp Board Assemblies, Acoustics, Flooring, Painting, Specialties, Fire Suppression, Mechanical, Electrical, Earthwork, Site Concrete and Landscaping. Work is expected to commence in Spring of 2025.
Electronic Project Files can be obtained by emailing Eric Prettyman at Loeffler Construction (eprettyman@loefflerconstruction.com) and requesting a unique document download link. Bids will be received via email (eprettyman@loefflerconstruction.com) until 4:00pm CST, November 13th, 2024. Bids received after this date and time may be rejected.
The subcontractor must be a responsible bidder as defined in the bid documents. The Owner and Loeffler Construction & Consulting reserve the right to reject any and all bids received and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
